Spring View Hospital Awarded ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from Leapfrog Group
December 09, 2022Spring View Hospital received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. This national distinction celebrates Spring View Hospital’s achievements in protecting hospital patients from preventable harm and errors.
“The prestigious Leapfrog ‘A’ demonstrates Spring View Hospital’s outstanding commitment to safety and quality initiatives for our patients,” said Chief Executive Officer Reba Celsor. “The COVID-19 pandemic created enormous challenges to healthcare and the Leapfrog ‘A’ is a testament to our unwavering dedication to providing the best care to our communities. I am immensely proud of the Spring View team for their relentless pursuit of safe patient care and furthering our mission of making communities healthier.”
The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization with a 10-year history of assigning letter grades to general hospitals throughout the United States, based on a hospital’s ability to prevent medical errors and harm to patients. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public. Hospital Safety Grade results are based on more than 30 national performance measures and are updated each fall and spring.
